From me, the workshop leader, you can expect the following service:
- Leading a quality workshop which would ideally run for a total of 4 hours, broken down into 2 hours per day over a two day period - Weekends are suitable.
- A PowerPoint Presentation introducing children to the history of children’s books and their influence on popular culture, as well as examples of children’s books written by children.
- One on one guidance and teaching for each child, ensuring the essence of their stories is expressed in their final written and/or illustrative work. This includes character and story development, as well as helping with drawing techniques if necessary.
- Creating a fun and interactive progress report for Day 2 of the workshop, inspiring children to continue their creation of a structured story.
- Creating the design and print format for each child’s final book to be printed.
- Conducting a complimentary reading session for the children as they are handed copies of their very own glossy storybooks… theirs to cherish forever, complete with biographies of these record breaking young writers secretly provided by their parents.
